Today we’ll begin our journey back to Paro, traveling through the scenic Dochula Pass and Thimphu. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the Hotel Lee Meridian, where you can settle in and relax. This evening is designed for relaxation, allowing you to prepare for an early morning hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery tomorrow.

Embarking on the Tiger’s Nest Monastery hike is an unforgettable Bhutanese experience, best started early to allow ample time. The round trip, including exploration of the monastery, typically takes around six hours for average hikers. The ascent to the temple, navigating mountain terrain, takes approximately 2.5 hours, reaching an elevation of 3,075 meters. From this high point, a descent of 465 steps with safety railings leads to a beautiful waterfall, followed by a final climb of 200 steps to the monastery. Upon arrival, a security checkpoint requires cameras and backpacks to be stored in lockers, with your guide managing registration and entry.
